Well, here we go. Let me explain... First the stove broke. Naturally this spiraled from "taking a look at a new stove" to "screw it, why not get an entire new kitchen". Now knowing that this will not be easy, nor fast - a tight schedule has been established. Oh, and did I mention this all being done WITHOUT professionals? The kitchen is scheduled to host a reception in about 5 weeks. So here we go! The goal is new cabinets, new stove, new sink, more cabinets, new layout, new TV mount, new tile wall, new hood, and of course new counters/blacksplashes. Eventually the back door will be replaced, but not urgently.
Before anything can happen - a temporary food prep space has been established in the dining room (the first pics here!). It's like being in college, only slightly more glamourous.
